FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA)

Mock Formula 1 Parts

With a group of 5, we each created our own parts that would resembleĀ those onĀ a Formula 1 car. Then, we analyzed each part through finite element analysis (FEA) in SolidWorks. We learned how to specify the boundary conditions, the mesh densities, and the general set-up of FEA. The analysis we conducted are thermal, modal, and static. I specifically worked on the suspension portion, but helped around with the rest of the sections.
