"LIFEBLOCKS": A MEDICAL DEVICE REPORT
In my upper division technical writing course, ENGR 190W: Communications in the Professional World, my group was tasked to invent a plausible product that we would then try to get investors to help start-up the project. We came up with the idea of "LifeBlocks", a medical service and device that recycles medical waste in a safe and sustainable way. The report explores the problem, proposal, work product, target customer, competition, method of approach, and risk management. This report is more of a practice of presenting technical material to an audience that does not have the same level of technical knowledge. Being concise and succinct while writing and presenting were the key practices. Although this was done during the COVID-19 pandemic, we still did our best as a whole to convey professoinalism in a remote setting.
